On May 10th and 11th 2017, the Full Moon fell under Scorpio’s intense, watery power.
April left many of us feeling dizzy and drained. With 5 planets in retrograde, it felt like old wounds and unresolved karmic lessons were being pulled into awareness. And on May 3rd and 4th when Mercury went exact, the carpet was finally pulled out from under our feet. This past week leading up to the Scorpio Full Moon has been intense, but Grandmother Moon wants you to know that it hasn’t all been without good reason.
Whether you’re already diving deep into the process of letting go, or still grasping onto a worn out way of being, Scorpio asks that you stop struggling against the tides.
Let go and allow the Scorpio Full Moon to cut the remaining ties for you. For many, Ancient Karma has been resurfacing this past month, in the form of relationships with family, friends, lovers, and said enemies. Old wounds that are frozen in time have re-created your reality and are now calling for your attention, healing, and self-love.
When the moon shines bright it’s time to take a look inside; find what wants to be released from the shadows to come forward into the light.
This Scorpio Full Moon is ultimately about reclaiming your center of power. Your center of power lies deep in your belly, and when you’re off balance you’re either giving your personal power away or the latter is happening; you’re acting out in an attempt to gain false power and control over others. Both operations are existing in a negative space of depletion. Thought patterns rooted in felt unworthiness are the ruler of this behavior. Scorpio calls you to remember that your power comes from your intimate connection with your higher self and the divine.
By trusting in your personal power, you bring greater harmony to your relationships where power imbalances may previously have been at play.
Whatever Ancient Karma is popping up for you around this time of the Scorpio Full Moon, it’s asking you to reclaim your power in a way that is authentic, infinitely sourced, and healthy for yourself and others. When you’re plugged into your personal power, you’re making decisions that are aligned with your self-growth and purposeful destiny. When you’re giving away your power, it is guilt, obligation, fear, or manipulation that are ultimately in control.
Scorpio is about opening up to the heat of your passions and desires, in order for you to make decisions that are in alignment to what your heart truly wants to say. So while these waters may initially feel intense and ungrounding, they will become easier to navigate with your willingness to let go of worn out patterns, as you find power in the center of your own being. Trust that your felt losses are being watered by this Moon’s intensity, and know that they are the seeds of new ideas and development that is meant to grow.
Scorpio Full Moon Medicine Mantra: My life is in alignment when I’m plugged into my infinite power center at the core of my being. Thank you La Luna for the light that you shine on the shadows of my heart’s deepest desires.
In Love and Moonlight,
Felicia
